Farmers’ markets are a terrific way to purchase sustainable, ethical, locally grown and fresh food direct from the farm to table.
They are an increasingly popular alternative to supermarket shopping and encourages people to eat seasonally rather than imported fruit and vegetables.
A visit to one of these can reconnect people with food, the land it comes from and what is involved in growing it; making them a perfect educational tool for all.
Wodonga and the Border hosts two major farmers’ markets:

The Albury Wodonga Farmer’s Market runs markets in Wodonga and Albury on alternate Saturdays from 8am to 12pm.
For more information, visit their website or Facebook page.

The Wodonga Junction Square Farmers Market is the only accredited farmers market in Albury/Wodonga held on the first and third Saturday of the month at Junction Square in Wodonga from 8am to 12.30pm. Accreditation assures the customer that the product purchased is grown and produced locally and sold by the producer.
