Birallee Park Neighbourhood House Inc

Birallee Park Neighbourhood hosts a number of cooking and volunteering programs.

“Our Table to Yours” – an emergency food relief program that prepares and cooks over 600 meals weekly for distribution to anyone in the community in need of short term assistance. With over 25,000 meals delivered in 2016, Birallee always values assistance with cooking, storeroom coordination, ordering, stock freight and transport needs;

“From Your Garden to the Community Table”– a community garden project where the public can adopt a plot for growing food for their own needs. General garden maintenance is also necessary for those beds that are used for Birallee’s kitchen garden programs;

“Food is Free at Birallee”– a daily fresh food cart that offers fruit, herbs and vegetables to the public who may require assistance with food security. This requires daily stocking, collection of additional product off site and maintenance generally.
